- Description
- Q2. Is this really only Inspection work or includes this solicitation / PWS also the preparation from the Tanks for TÜV and the TÜV examination? A2. This is only TUEV Inspection following VAWS. Therefore the contractor must be a Technical Inspection Agency like TUEV or similar Institutions. Q3. Are there also Tanks with LDFL (Long Distance Filling Line) and if Yes which Tanks from the List? A3. Yes one, TYFR 2453, but the pipeline is not part of this inspection. Q4. Which Tanks are equipped with a mechanical direct filling device? A4. All Q5. Should the fix price also include Small parts i.e. defective bulbs of the control units, fuses, Seals, leak indicator liquids, unusable worn out screws etc.? A5. No repair or fix, only TUEV Tank Inspection. Q6. Is it possible to find available residues in the dome shaft and if Yes how this should be handled? A6. Every tank has a Point of Contact (POC). The contractor shall coordinate the site visits with the POCs. They will take care of any preparations that might be necessary to enable the inspections. Q7. How is it about costs for the technical inspection accomplished by the Technical Control Board (TUV), will this be separate paid? A7. There must be one standard price per Tank Inspection following to VAWS. This price will be paid for the final product, the Tank Inspection Report electronically in German and in English. This standard price must include preparation, travelling time, inspection, development, delivery and corrections if necessary. Q8. Do we also find hazard categories class A1Tanks? A8. Yes. Q9. Can you show us which tanks from the Appendix B we have to Inspect in the different years? A9. A fixed schedule is not established. An estimated schedule will be provided after award but is subject to change over time due to availability and circumstances of each location. Each year will include mixture of different tank sizes.
