- Spare Parts List for Schwarze Model A7000 Sweepers and Freightliner Chassis Sources Sought Synopsis/Request for Information: THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL/QUOTE. Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, OH is seeking sources for a possible 100% small business set-aside acquisition to provide the following items: Quantity of six (6) sets of spare parts kits that will provide two (2) years of support for the Schwarze Model A7000 sweepers and six (6) Freightliner chassis kits as well as two (2) sets of Freightliner diagnostic tools for previously purchased vehicles. Per FAR 52.211-6, this is a brand name or equal requirement. Make/Model: to fit a Schwarze Model A7000 standard suction head sweeper. Sweeper Schwarze kit Model A72YRKIT, Freightliner chassis kit model A72YRKITFRL, and Freightliner diagnostic tool kits Model 128048. Attached lists are for one (1) set of spares for Schwarze A7000 and one (1) set of spares for Freightliner chassis kit and one (1) set of Freightliner Diagnostic tools. Information is being collected from all potential sources at this time. Firms responding should indicate whether they are a large business, small business, 8(a)-certified small business, service-disabled veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB), or Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this action is 336211, size standard of 1,000 employees. Please indicate your business size relative to this size standard. Respondents are requested to indicate their status as a foreign-owned/foreign-controlled firm and any contemplated use of foreign national employees on this effort. All prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database to be awarded a DOD contract. No set-aside decision has been made. Note that a key factor in determining an acquisition to be a Small Business Set Aside is that small business prime contractors must perform at least 50% of the cost of manufacturing the supplies as stated in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clause 52.219-14. Additionally, firms having GSA schedules should indicate their GSA schedule number in their responses. FAR 19.001, Non-manufacturer Rule is applicable to this requirement. The Non-manufacturer rule means that a contractor under a small business set-aside or 8(a) contract shall be a small business under the applicable size standard and shall provide either its own product or that of another domestic small business manufacturing or processing concern (see 13 CFR 121.406).
