- Posted 25 July 2014 (RFP Release Date): The Department of the Navy, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific (SSC Pacific) hereby issues solicitation No. N66001-14-R-0001 for engineering, fabrication, installation, logistics/security and administrative support, design, testing and evaluation, rapid prototype development (i.e., set up a working model to prove a concept), and acquisition of commercial-off-the-shelf items utilized in turnkey operations of sophisticated electronic/communications equipment and systems at shore stations throughout the world, on board coalition partner vessels, and on board U. S. Coast Guard vessels in port or at sea. These requirements support SSC Pacific, C4ISR Department Code H, Hawaii and may be performed throughout the world, but primarily in Hawaii, Guam, Japan, San Diego, Singapore, Diego Garcia and South Korea. This is a 100% small business set-aside competition, anticipated to result in a multiple award contract (MAC). SSC Pacific intends on awarding multiple Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) contracts. The prospective contracts will have a one-year base period with four one-year option periods. The estimated level of effort for the total requirement is 342,000 hours. The NAICS code for this procurement is 541330 with a size standard of $38.5 million. A Bidders Mailing List will not be established and hard copies of documents will not be provided. It is estimated that the solicitation will be released in late April/early May of 2014. FIRMS ARE ENCOURAGED TO REVIEW THE WEB SITE REGULARLY FOR UPDATED INFORMATION. The incumbent contractors are Lockheed Martin International Services, Inc. and Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) which previously provided support under contract numbers N66001-09-D-0021 and N66001-09-D-0022 respectively.
