However, based on concerns that the Government heard at the DRV Industry Day, it is a consideration the Government will take back and re-consider. Based on the current strategy, the Government is NOT paying for any bid samples, any vendors that are selected into the competitive range WOULD get their bid samples back after the Source Selection process is over and a contract is awarded. If the Government decided to change their current strategy and pay for bid samples, then the vendor WOULD NOT receive their bid samples back. Those bid samples now belong to the Government.
