- SOLICITATION This solicitation is being posted to Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/. FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet. Please feel free to use the FBO site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. Sole Source Procurement The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Crystal Pressure, P.O. Box 3033, San Luis Obispo, CA 93403-3033 and its authorized distributor, Standard Calibrations, 908 Ventures Way, Chesapeake, VA 23320. All other offerors may submit a quote that will be reviewed by the Government. However, a determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division intends to solicit, negotiate, and enter into a Firm Fixed Price Commercial Supply Contract IAW FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures for the following procurement: CLIN 0001- Crystal Pressure WT15PSI-1500 Digital Pressure Gauge CLIN 0002- Crystal Pressure WT100PSI-1500 Digital Pressure Gauge QUANTITY: CLIN 0001- 28 EA, CLIN 0002- 27 EA, Delivery: Require FOB Destination to Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane, Indiana 47522 six weeks ARO. Quoters - Please note before preparing your quote, carefully review ALL SECTIONS. An acceptable quote will consist of the following: Signed SF 1449 (ALL PAGES RETURNED) All pricing must be entered on each CLIN of solicitation The solicitation attachments will be posted to FedBizOpps at the same time the solicitation is posted. FedBizOpps may be accessed at http://www.fbo.gov. To be eligible for award of a Government contract, contractors must be properly registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). The link to the website is https://www.sam.gov. The solicitation will be available for download on 25 JUL 2014. Closing date will be on 31 JUL 2014, 4:00 P.M. EDT. This notice is a synopsis and does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ) and it is not a commitment by the U.S. Navy to procure subject equipment, all changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to FedBizOpps. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor FedBizOpps for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a quote will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award.
