- Single Source Justification and Approval for XM Satellite Weather Subscriptions. NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD - The 325th Contracting Squadron intends to award a sole-source firm-fixed price purchase order to Sirius XM Satellite Radio, Inc. for six (6) each annual subscriptions for XM weather radio - Aviator Preferred Package (base year plus one option year for each aircraft). Quotes are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be used. This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1 and FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii), Test Program for Commercial Items. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. The Government believes this is a sole source requirement; however, vendors that feel they can fulfill this requirement should contact the POCs identified in this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 515111 with a size standard of $32.5 Million.
