- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The South Dakota Army National Guard (SDARNG) has a requirement for Musical Instruments for the SD Army National Guard Band. In accordance with Army Regulation 220-90, the South Dakota Army National Guard Warrant Officer Bandmaster is the only individual authorized to certify the sufficiency, condition, serviceability, and quality of musical instruments. The Warrant Officer Bandmaster has certified the brands listed within this solicitation to meet the standard. Vendor must quote exact brand. No award shall be made unless the Contracting Officer makes confirmation or affirmative determination of responsibility for the potential contractor. Potential contractor must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award of contract. This acquisition shall be 100% Small Business set aside. Applicable NAICS 339992 - Musical Instrument Manufacturing, the small business size standards is 500 Employees. RFQ solicitation response date is 7 Aug 2014.
