Description

1. This project specifies the following work: An existing interruptible power supply (UPS) system, stored up in the airfield's garage in Katterbach, must be transported, tested, repaired, and installed in the utilities room at the basement of the Building# 5850. The UPS system takes over and generates electrical power during the loss of commercial power. 2. The solicitation will result in a Firm Fixed Price Contract. The magnitude of the project is less than 25,000. 3. The performance period is 30 calendar days, whereby a commencement time of 20 calendar days is included. 4. The solicitation will be issued on or about 24 July 2014 with an anticipated bid opening date of approximately 19 August 2014. The solicitation will be posted on the following website: https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted it is incumbent upon parties to review the website frequently for any updates/amendments. 5. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be considered by the RCO Bavaria. 6. Work will be performed in Germany and contractor must comply with German law (e.g. authorization to do business in Germany). 7. Only local sources are solicited in accordance with FAR 5.202(a)(12).
