- Description
- This is a notice of intent that AFMC AFSC/PZAAC anticipates issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a Commercial Spare Buy for a one-time buy. This is a Firm-Fixed Price Type Acquisition for the Purchase of One (1) Each of the "Gas Chromatograph", which will be for Spares Acquisition. The National Stock Number (NSN) is: 6630-01-622-7407RN. The Part Number (P/N) is: ICS-5000 DP. This acquisition is Sole Source to: Thermo Electron North America LLC (Cage Code: 3WXJ7). The Projected Delivery will be 180 Days After Receipt of Order. Early Delivery is Acceptable. The Response Date for issuing the actual Solicitation will be approximately 7 Aug 2014 with a Quote Due Date of approximately 25 Aug 2014. The RFQ will be issued using electronic procedures which will be posted at the following website: www.fedbizopps.gov. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE HONORED and no hard copies will be mailed out. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation shall be considered. OMBUDSMAN: All potential offeror(s) should contact the Buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If the Contracting Officer does not satisfy your concerns, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the Program Director or Contracting Officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern.
