- Description
- Network Contracting Office (NCO) 15 intends to release Solicitation VA255-14-R-0262 for eyeglasses on behalf of Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 15. This solicitation will require contractor to furnish prescription eyeglasses to beneficiaries on the VISN 15 VA Healthcare systems. Offers must be able to meet the commercial ANSI standards for eye glasses. VISN 15 includes the facilities listed in the table below. The full solicitation will be posted on FEDBIZOPPS at www.fbo.gov in around July 22, 2014. Award from this solicitation will be set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) contractors. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this procurement is 339115, Ophthalmic Goods manufacturing; size standard in number of employees is 500. This will be a Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract with a base period of (1) year plus four (4) one year option periods to be exercised at the discretion of the Government. The government anticipates awarding a single award, but reserves the right to award multiple awards if determined in the best interest of the government.
