Description
Modification to update Salient Characteristics In lieu of questions and concerns addressed at the required site visit, the below specifications are clarified in this amendment: Gauges: All gauges shall come with one year manufacturer calibration. Filter requirement clarification: 3 micron filter on tank fill port and 3 micron filter in system System Power Draw: Q: Can the generator have a momentary 300A draw? A: No. 200A draw is the max. Pressure transducers clarification: Ultimately this pressure transducer shall be signal-conditioned into a +/-10V maximum signal for our Data acquisition System to read and display. Currently, PCB pressure transducers are being used, which output an ICP signal to the PCB 482C05 signal conditioner (which is a part of our Data Acquisition System). The PCB 482C05 accepts ICP signals and outputs +/-10V signals. This would be the desired method of delivering the signal to our data acquisition system Hydraulic connector clarification: There is no requirement for the style of connectors that go between the hydraulic generator and the hoses, but the end of the hoses that connect to the guns must have the following connectors: Hose half, QD, Low Pressure hose, Female PN: 24300-100 NSN: 4730-00-818-6582 Manufacturer: Hydraulics International Hose half, QD, High Pressure hose, Female PN: 24278-200 NSN: 4730-01-383-2248 Manufacturer: Hydraulics International For your reference below are the hoses that are currently used: Hose, -12, High Pressure PN: G4SH-12-12FJ-12FJ-236 NSN: 4920-01-558-5901 Manufacturer: Hydraulics International Hose, -20, Low Pressure PN: GR5-20-20FJ-20FJ-233 NSN 4720-01-568-8847 Manufacturer: Hydraulics International Additional questions and answers are listed below: 1) The solicitation calls for a 0-40 gpm flow rate gauge. What accuracy is desired/required for this gauge? - Accuracy to within 0.5 gpm 2) What form of display is desired/required for this gauge? - For this accuracy level I think it will need to be digital. 3) The solicitation calls for a 0-5000 psi pressure gauge. What accuracy is desired/required for this gauge? - Accuracy to within 100psi 4) The solicitation calls for two 0-5000 psi pressure transducers. What accuracy is desired/required for these pressure transducers? - The pressure transducers should have accuracy to within 25psi 5) What form of display is desired/required for the above pressure transducers? - No display necessary. The display will be taken care of by the Data Acquisition System that we already have in place at our range. Ultimately this pressure transducer shall be signal conditioned into a +/-10V maximum signal for our Data acquisition System to read and display. Currently we use PCB pressure transducers which output an ICP signal to the PCB 482C05 signal conditioner (which is a part of our Data Acquisition System). The PCB 482C05 accepts ICP signals and outputs +/-10V signals. This would be the desired method of delivering the signal to our data acquisition system 6) The solicitation calls for two temperature transmitters. What accuracy is desired/required for these transmitters? - Accuracy to within 1 degree Fahrenheit. 7) What form of display is desired/required for the above temperature transmitters? - A conditioned +/-10V maximum output signal. Along with an analog gage on the unit itself (analog gage does not need to have 1 degF accuracy) 8) Is cooling water available? Or must we provide an oil to air heat exchanger if cooling proves necessary. - No cooling/chilled water available. Oil to air heat exchanger would be best. 9) The solicitation calls for a fluid filter. What rating is desired/required for this filter? - See above clarification for the filter 10) The solicitation calls for QD fittings to be supplied on the hose ends. Are specific QD fittings desired/required, or are we free to select the type? - See above clarification for the fittings 11) The fluid reservoir material is not specified. Is carbon steel sufficient, or is stainless steel desired/required? - Carbon steel with corrosion resistant coating 12) The piping and tubing material is not specified. Is carbon steel sufficient, or is stainless steel desired/required? - The material used must be sufficient to accommodate PSI load
