PAPER COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND TELEPHONE REQUESTS OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Description: 100% Set-aside for Small Business. FY 14 Pavement Improvements, Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, ME. Solicitation Number: P14PS01854. The National Park Service requires a firm, fixed-price construction contract to furnish all labor, materials, equipment and expertise necessary to perform all operations required for the successful completion of the above named project. The Work consists of pavement management of the roads, parking areas, and pullouts within the Acadia National Park. Acadia National Park is located within Hancock County, Maine. This project includes work on Stanley Brook Road, Visitor Center Parking, and Visitor Center RV Parking. This work includes, but is not limited to, microsurface treatment, crack seal, spot repairs, pavement markings. The NAICS code for this project is 238990, All Other Specialty Trades Contractors, and the small business size standard is $15.0 million. Contract duration is 43 days following notice to award. However, all Contract Line Items awarded are required to be complete through Beneficial Occupancy No Later Than October 15, 2014. In accordance with FAR Subpart 36.204, the price range for this contract is between $100,000 and $250,000. This procurement is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) and is subject to the provisions of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 14, Sealed Bids. In addition, this procurement is offered as 100% Set-aside for Small Business, and the National Park Service encourages the participation of 8(a), HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business, and Women-Owned Small Business enterprises. A site visit will be scheduled for all interested parties with the time and date to be announced in the solicitation, Section L, clause 52.236-27 Alt 1, Site Visit (Construction). Bids will be due approximately 21 days following issuance of solicitation with bid openings the same day.
