- Hamden & Ansonia Janitorial Services Description: Janitorial services at the Hamden and Ansonia, CT USDA Forest Service facilities. The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, and training to complete the required janitorial services, in accordance with the specifications in Section C, for the Hamden and Ansonia property. The estimated start work date is August 18, 2014, for the initial period of (August 18, 2014 through September 30, 2014) with the option for three additional option years. The scope of this work is continuous janitorial services at two locations. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and the documents incorporate provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-70. This procurement is a total small-business set aside. The NAICS code is 561720 and the Small Business Size Standard is $16.5 million. Vendors must be registered in Systems for Award Management (SAM) prior to receiving a government contract (formerly Central Contractors Registration or CCR). See www.sam.gov for details - this may take up to 2 weeks and requires a DUNS number, so it is highly recommended that interested parties register immediately in order to avoid any delays in award. All questions concerning this project MUST be submitted electronically to the POC listed below. No phone calls will be accepted.
