- It is the National Energy Technology Laboratory's (NETL) intent to award a purchase order on a sole source basis to The AMERICAN NATIONAL STANDARDS INSTITUTE INC. (ANSI) to purchase a 1 year Network License Agreement. All technical questions regarding this requirement should be directed to Mr. Ryan Morrone at 412-386-4689, e-mail Ryan.Morrone@netl.doe.gov. This is considered a sole source to The AMERICAN NATIONAL STANDARDS INSTITUTE INC. (ANSI) because they are the sole The Acoustical Society of America (?ASA?), The American Society for Heating, Regrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (?ASHRAE?), The Amercian Society of Mechanical Engineers (?ASME?), The American Society of Safety Engineers (?ASSE?), ASTM International (?ASTM?), The American Welding Society (?AWS?), The Compressed Gas Association (?CGA?), The International Electrotechnical Commission (?IEC?), The Illuminating Engineering Society of North America (?IESNA?), The International Society of Automation? (?ISA?); International Safety Equipment Association (?ISEA?) ?The American Society of Civil Engineers (?ASCE?) The International Organization for Standardization (?ISO?), The Laser Institute of America (?LIA?), The Scaffold Industry Association (?SIA?), The Wood Machinery Manufacturers of America (?WMMA?), and the British Standards Institution (?BSI?), all sta ndards developing organizations, assert that they own the copyright to and/or have the exploitation rights to documents they publish and/or license to ANSI (the ? ASA, ASHRAE, ASME, ASCE, ASSE, ASTM, AWS, CGA, IEC, IESNA, ISA, ISEA, ISO, LIA, SIA, WMMA and BSI standards?; All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Challenges must demonstrate the capability to provide all of the listed specifications for the item being requested (maintenance/service agreement). To be considered for evaluation, offerors must quote on all items/services listed in the solicitation. If no challenges to acquire this item are received by 5:30 PM ET on August 3, 2014, the government reserves the right to execute an award without publishing further notification. Detailed capabilities must be submitted to lora.stumpf@netl.doe.gov no later than the time and date noted above. NOTICE: Vendors are strongly encouraged to submit their Request for Quotation (RFQ SF 18) or proposal(s) via the FEDCONNECT.NET portal at www.fedconnect.net. Request for Quotation (RFQ SF 18) or proposal(s) shall also be accepted via email or fax.
