Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Technology Acquisition Center (TAC), located at 23 Christopher Way, Eatontown, New Jersey 07724 intends to enter into a contract on the basis of other than full and open competition for the renewal of software maintenance and help desk support for Allscripts Transition II (TII ®) Sunrise Financial Decision Support Manager software from Allscripts Healthcare, LLC. Allscripts Transition II (TII ®) Sunrise Financial Decision Support Manager software is currently used enterprise wide by VA as its designated Managerial Cost Accounting (MCA) system. The TAC intends to award a sole source, 12-month Firm-Fixed-Price contract with two 12-month option periods to Allscripts Healthcare, LLC, (Allscripts) 8529 Six Forks Road, Raleigh, North Carolina, 27615, pursuant to authority 41 U.S.C 3304(a)(1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1 entitled, "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements." The proposed solicitation number for this effort is VA118-14-Q-0413. The place of performance for this acquisition is at the Contractor's facility. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 511210 with a corresponding small business size standard of $35.5M. The estimated date of award for this action is October 1, 2014. This notification shall close on July 31, 2014. This is a notification of intent, not a request for proposals.
