- ****SOLICITATION CLOSING DATE HAS CHANGED FROM 18 JUL 14 TO 31 JUL 14; AMENDMENT IS ATTACHED**** The purpose of this procurement is to provide the brand name or equal item (Etymotic Music Pro MP9-15 High Definition Electronic Earplugs) along with custom fit eartips for the earplugs and any associated shipping cost as described by the Government in the solicitation. Any Offeror providing an 'or equal' product shall provide specification sheets or product literature for evaluation by the government. This requirement is a 100% set aside for Small Businesses. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this requirement is 334510 (Electromedical and Electrotherapeutic Apparatus Manufacturing) with a size standard of 500 employees. The solicitation will be awarded as a single award - firm fixed price type contract. Delivery is to be made to Channel Islands Air National Guard Station - Port Hueneme CA 93041. Delivery is scheduled: 30 days after award. All offerors shall be registered on the System for Award Management at www.SAM.gov by quotation due date. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management; contractors must be registered in www.SAM.gov database before a contract can be awarded to your company. Registration may be accomplished at www.SAM.gov. The solicitation will be distributed solely through the Federal Business Opportunities web-site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions.
