- This is a pre-solicitation. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued on or about 5 August 2014. Offerors will be given a minimum of 30 days to respond to the solicitation. The RFP and related documents will only be available electronically at the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website ( www.fbo.gov ). This work includes providing two 24 inch clear aperture, f/6 constructed from material appropriate for use in the midwavelength infrared (2-5 micrometers) The telescopes shall include an integrated motorized focus system capable of remotely focusing the telescope. The telescope shall be a commercially available product.
