Description
This synopsis is being posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at https://www.fbo.gov. This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request For Quotation (RFQ) number is N66604-14-Q-2387. NUWC Division Newport intends to purchase the following items on a Firm Fixed Price Type Contract: CLIN 0001 Remote Environmental Monitoring System in accordance with Attachment 1, Government Minimum Specifications, 1 Each. Required delivery is 30 days after award, F.O.B. Destination Naval Station Newport; Newport, RI. This is 100% set-aside for small business. NAICS 334513; size standard is 500 employees. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-65. FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items applies to this solicitation. This acquisition will use Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) source selection procedures. Technical acceptable means the items quoted meet all the Government's Minimum Specification in Attachment 1and meets the required delivery. All offerors must submit product specification information for technical review. The provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items applies to this solicitation. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items, and DFARS 52.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items apply to this solicitation. Full text of incorporated FAR/DFARS Clause and provisions are available at: www.acquisition.gov/far. The following addenda or additional terms and conditions apply: DFARS Clause 252.211-7003 the contractor shall provide a unique item identifier (UID) for all delivered items for which the Government's unit acquisition cost is $5,000.00 or more. The UID labels shall be affixed to the items prior to shipping. Offers should include price and delivery terms and the following additional information with submission: point of contact (including phone number and email address), contractor cage code and DUNS number and product specification information for technical review. Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) Unrated applies.
