Description

The HamptonVeterans Affairs Medical Center located in Hampton, Virginia, is in need of a contractor experienced in Structural Repair and Concrete work to provide all materials, equipment, and labor to complete project "SCI Crawlspace Structural Repairs". Work includes shoring, utilities and structural repairs. This is a Presolicitation only. Interested contractors should watch for the issuance of the solicitation which will have specific instructions and requirements associated with this procurement. The tentative date for issuing the solicitation is July 30, 2014 with a bid opening on or about August 29, 2014. These are only tentative dates. The solicitation will have specific dates, times, and locations for the bid opening and site visit. The magnitude of construction per VAAR Part 836 is between $1,000,000.00 and $2,000,000.00. This is a 100% SDVOSB set-aside. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 238110 (Poured Concrete Foundation and Structure Contractors) with a maximum business size standard of $15.0 Million. All interested parties must be verified in VETBIZ as an SDVOSB prior to submitting a bid. This is a PRESOLICITATION NOTICE only. This is not a request for pricing at this time.
