Description
Request for Information (RFI): This is a Sources Sought Notice only. The 325th Contracting Squadron is seeking information concerning the availability of contractors capable of programming and installing "Have Quick" functionality on the existing Orion MT 32 Communications Switching System. The system will interface with the Tyndall range communications network and other MT 32 CSS's. Have Quick should be configurable from any Operator End Instrument (EI) from a list of preprogrammed Nets or programmed directly from the EI. The EI touch screen display will incorporate all appropriate Have Quick commands and programming functions with each selected Have Quick capable radio. Transmit/receive & key outputs for headsets will remain the same. EI Have Quick remote control interface for air to ground radios must include but not necessarily be limited to: PRC 117F/G. Disclaimer: This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation, i.e. we are not seeking proposals nor will accept unsolicited proposals. Response to the RFI will not be returned. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. Our desire is to award this procurement to a small business however, lack of qualified small businesses may dictate otherwise. Please indicate if you have the capability to install these upgrades, if you have a GSA schedule and if you are a small business. Note: not having a GSA contract or being a small business is not a disqualifier if you have the capability we want to hear from you. Vendors must be CCR registered prior to an award being made. We are requesting all interested and qualified firms to respond to this sources sought notice with the following information: Company name, address, CAGE code, GSA Schedule (if any), phone, fax, email and website if applicable. This information must be emailed to the attention of Rick Rynearson at Richard.Rynearson.3@us.af.mil by 31 July 2014 at 2:00 PM CST.
