Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs in South Texas, VISN 17, intends to negotiate a sole-source purchase order with VERTHON INC - Bothell, WA to purchase Bladder Scan BVI 9400 - Bladder Volume Instrument System Includes Standard First Year Warranty & In-Service Training, BVI 9400 Rolling Cart, BVI 9400 Training Pack - Acute (English), Universal Accessory Basket and BVI 9400 Prem. Annual Warranty Ext. PTCC - 2 Yrs NAICS: 334510. Justification for this sole source procurement is in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a) (2) (ii) (A), only one responsible source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. If no valid responses are received, the South Texas Veterans Health Care System will proceed with the intended sole source contract. Responses must be received no later than 12:00 P.M.
