- Sources Sought The Food and Drug Administration is conducting market research to assess the availability of small business firms as defined by NAICS code 541990 to provide Micropipettor Calibration Verification Cleaning and Repairs for six laboratories as detailed in the requirements below. This Sources Sought is to determine the availability and capability of a small business, (ie: certified 8a, small disadvantage, HUB Zone one firms, Veteran owned small business and woman owned small businesses). This information is being sought for information and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as an Invitation for Bids, a Request for Proposals, Solicitation or Request for Quotes, or an indication the Government will contract for the items or services herein. This notice is not to be construed as a commitment on the part of the Government to award a contract, nor does the Government intend to pay for any information submitted as a result of this notice. The Government does not reimburse respondents for any cost associated with submission of the information being requested or reimburse expenses incurred to interested parties for responses to the sources sought. Any response received will not be used as a proposal. All information is due 10 days from the date of publication by e-mail to Janice.Heard@fda.hhs.gov **THERE WILL BE NO QUESTIONS AND ANSWER PERIOD** No phone calls will be accepted. Requirements: Calibration and Preventive Maintenance service on micropopettore for six laboratories. The Calibration/Preventative Maintenance will be valid for 6 months after performed. All work must be completed as defined by 17025 and A2LA requirements. This service is twice per year or every 6 months. PRL-SW (19701 Fairchild, Irvine CA 92612-2506) has126 micropipettors ( 11 - 8 channel micropipettors, 10 - 12 channel micropipettors, 100-single channel micropipettors and 5 miscellaneous pipettors) that need Calibration/Preventative Maintenance every six months. PRL-NW (22201 23rd Drive SE, Bothell WA 98021-4421) has 86 micropipettors (7 - 8 channel micropipettors, 1 - 12 channel micropipettors, 83- single channel micropipettors and 2 Dispensette III micropipettors) that need Calibration/Preventative Maintenance every 6 months. SAN - Laboratory (1431 Harbor Bay Pkwy, Alameda CA 94502) has 128 micropipettors (114 single channel micropipettors, 8 -8 channel micropipettors and 1 - 12 channel Micropipettor, 1-6 channel and 4 repeating) that need Calibration/Preventative Maintenance every 6 months. Denver -Laboratory (6th ave and Kipling Street, DFC, Bldg. 20, Denver, CO 80225) has 175 micropipettors (165 single channel micropipettors, 5 -8 channel micropipettors and 5 - 12 channel micropipettors) that need Calibration/Preventative maintenance every 6 months. Detroit -Laboratory (300 River Place, Suite 5900, Detroit, Michigan 48207) has 63 micropipettors (50 single channel micropipettors, 4 - 12 channel micropipettors and 9 miscellaneous) that need Calibration/Preventative maintenance every 6 months. Southeast Regional- Laboratory (60 Eighth Street NE, Atlanta, GA 30309) has 130 micropipettors (123 single channel micropipettors, 7- 8 channel micropipettors) that need Calibration/Preventative maintenance every 6 months. Respondents should supply: *Business name, DUNS number, business address, business website, business size status (i.e., SB, VOSB, SDVOSB, HUBZone SB, SDB, WOSB, LB), point of contact name, mailing address (if different from business address), phone number and email address; *Sufficient descriptive literature that unequivocally demonstrates that offered products and services meet or exceed above specifications. *All descriptive material necessary for the government to determine whether the product offered meets the technical requirements including: technical specifications, descriptive material, literature, brochures and other information, which demonstrates the capabilities of the contractor to meet the requirement. Indicate whether the organization is the manufacturer of the items or authorized reseller. If reseller, include the manufacturer's name, address and DUNS number. *If applicable, identification of the firm's GSA Schedule contract(s) by Schedule number and SINs that are applicable to this potential requirement are also requested.
