- Description
- The 1st Special Operations Contracting Squadron, located at 350 Tully Street, Bldg 90339, Hurlburt Field, FL 32544, intends to make a single award for INTEGRATED SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT SERVICES with a base period of performance of 1 April 2015 - 31 March 2016; with four one year option periods. Work consists of, but is not limited to, providing all personnel, management, tools, supplies, vehicles, labor, supervision and all other required items necessary to perform integrated solid waste management services IAW the Performance Work Statement (PWS). This acquisition is being offered for competition to eligible 8(a) business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 562111 with a size standard of $35.5M. The Contracting Officer anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price type contract to the successful offeror selected. IAW FAR 52.232-18, Availability of Funds (Apr 1984), Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer. The issuance date for this solicitation is projected to be on/about 12 August 2014. The offeror shall submit a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items (May 2014) with its quote. An offeror shall complete only paragraph (b) of this provision if the offeror has completed the annual representations and certifications electronically at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM. If an offeror has not completed the annual representations and certifications electronically at the SAM website, the offeror shall complete only paragraphs (c) through (m) of this provision. Offerors shall indicate (with DUNS Number) that current information is available on the federal government website System for Award Management (SAM) https://www.sam.gov. Prospective contractors must be registered in SAM prior to award of a government contract. Additionally, the offeror shall comply with the DFARS clause at 252.232-7003 Electronic Submission of Payment Requests and Receiving Reports (Jun 2012).
