Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. 1.This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only Combined Synopsis/Solicitation requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. 2.This announcement constitutes the only Combined Synopsis/Solicitation; quotations are being requested and no further solicitation will be made. 3.As per the attached Scope of Work (SOW), this Combined Synopsis/Solicitation is for preparation, priming and paining of CONEX Containers. Vendors, in order to be eligible for award must comply with the SOP and after award perform all work in its entirety. 4.The Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Number is: W912L2-14-T-0040. The Combined Synopsis/Solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The award will be FIRM FIXED PRICE. 5.A site visit will be available for all interested parties on Tuesday, 29 July 14 at 0900. All attendees MUST REGISTER with April Schneider, april.y.schneider.mil@mail.mil NLT 1000 on 28 July 2014. Directions and required facility entrance documentation will be provided to all registered participants. 6.Quotes are due via email to the Contracting Specialist: april.y.schneider.mil@mail.mil with Painting of CONEX Containers in the SUBJECT line by 1500 MST 13 August submission. 7.Question Submission: Interested offerors may submit any questions concerning the solicitation prior to 1500 MST 31 July 2014. Questions must be submitted by email to april.y.schneider.mil@mail.mil with Painting of CONEX Containers in the subject line. Questions not received within the time or format specified will not be considered. No telephonic requests will be entertained. All responses to questions will be posted by way of an amendment to this combined synopsis/solicitation to the FEDBIZOPS. All questions must be addressed to the Contracting Officer/Specialist only. Any other official may disqualify the offeror from submission of a quote. Offerors are encouraged to check the Federal Business Opportunity (FEDBIZOPS) website at http://www.fedbizops.gov for any amendments to this combined synopsis/solicitation. 8.This acquisition is 100% set aside for Small Business under NAICS: 238320 (Size Standard is $14.0 million dollars. The Arizona Army National Guard is requiring: Paint and stencil 84 ea 20 ft (L240 in x W96 in x H96 in) and 9 ea 40 ft (L480 in x W96 in x H96 in) storage-grade metal CONEX containers. 1.Quotes will be submitted in the following format: CLIN 1: Painting of CONEX Containers 20 FT (L240 in x W96 in x H96 in QUANITY 84 Each:$_____________________________ SUBTOTAL:$_____________________ Painting of CONEX Containers 40 FT (L480 in x W96 in x H96 in QUANITY 9 Each: $___________________________SUBTOTAL:$________________________ TOTAL:$___________________________ 2.The Combined Synopsis/Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-72. Effective December 31, 2013. The provisions and clauses, which are incorporated herein by reference or full text, apply to this acquisition: a.FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items (FEB 2012). b.FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation- Commercial Items (JAN 1999). Specifically (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Shipping must be free on board (FOB) destination CONUS (Continental U.S.) which means that the seller must deliver the goods on its conveyance at the destination specified by the buyer, and the seller is responsible for the cost of shipping and risk of loss prior to actual delivery at the specified destination.
