- AD NOTICE OF INTENT TO USE OTHER THAN FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION The U.S. Government currently occupies office and related space in a building under lease in Ocala, FL that will be expiring December 31, 2014. The Government intends to negotiate a succeeding lease for 4,883 ANSI BOMA Office Area (ABOA) square feet based on economic, mission, and other factors. The Government will consider alternative space only if economical and other factors are supportive. In making this determination, the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternative space that potentially can satisfy the Government's requirements, costs likely to be incurred through relocating such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunication infrastructure, non-productive agency downtime, occupancy schedule, and quality of space. Description of Requirements State: Florida City: Ocala Delineated Area: North: SR 326 South: SW/SE 80 Street East: NE/SE 58 Avenue West: NW/SW: 80 Avenue & NW 70 Avenue Road Minimum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 4,883 Maximum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 4,883 Space Type: Office Parking Spaces (Total): 37 Parking Spaces (Surface): 37 Parking Spaces (Structured): 0 Parking Spaces (Reserved): 0 Full Term: Ten (10) years Firm Term: Five (5) years Option Term: N/A Additional Requirements: Additional requirements apply and will be addressed in RLP/Lease Action : Choose whether or not a fully serviced lease is required. Also choose 100 year floodplain unless requirement is identified by agency as a critical action. Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease. A fully serviced lease is required.
