Description: Cargo Safety System Program for CH-47 Aircraft for Engineering and Logistical Support Services (ELSS) to maintain the safety of the CH-47 Helicopter by efficiently tracking and managing safety issues that affect the CH-47D, CH-47F and common items with the MH-47G. ****ATTENTION****FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION SHOULD BE DIRECTED TO Michael W. You may FAX or mail your request ATTN: CCAM-CH-A (Bldg 5678), Earnestine D. Cooper, FAX number 256-876-9066. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. This effort is sole source to The Boeing Company Route 291 & Stewart Avenue, Ridley Park, PA 19078-1099 (CAGE 77272). Authority and Justification for other than full and open competition is Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 because the proposed contract action is for services for which the Government has Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements to permit full and open competition. The Government is contemplating the issuance of a delivery order for Cargo Safety System Program for CH-47 Aircraft for Engineering and Logistical Support Services (ELSS) to maintain the safety of the CH-47 Helicopter by efficiently tracking and managing safety issues that affect the CH-47D, CH-47F and common items with the MH-47G. This requirement is for one (1) base year and four (4) option years. Firms that can accomplish the above requirement are encouraged to identify themselves and provide supporting evidence to permit participation in current and future solicitations. Firms are encouraged to see source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/CMO/ and looking under qualification procedures for aviation requirements. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and maybe adjusted dependent upon the date of release of the solicitation. However, the solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. NOTE: 22, 26
