These vessels shall be employed in the worldwide prepositioning of U.S. Marine Corps cargo, including, but not limited to hazardous, explosive, ammunition, vehicular, bulk cargoes (includes liquid cargoes carried in bulk), containerized cargo (including containerized cargoes in bulk), and general cargoes and for other Government missions as directed. This contract requires the Contractor to obtain and maintain a SECRET facilities clearance and to employ personnel with SECRET security clearances. (17) Place of Contract Performance: Worldwide (18) Set-aside Status: Full and Open Competition. This modification to the draft solicitation updates and adds sections of the future RFP for your review. The RFP is in the final stages of review so there will still minor revisions if and when it is released. MSC anticipates, but is not obligated, to release the actual solititation within the next two - three weeks. If released, it is anticipated to be open for 30 days only. As always, Industry input is appreciated. However, questions will not be answered until the RFP has been released. Attachment B - Wage Determination is still in work and will be added as soon as possible. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
