Description
The purpose of this program is to provide a C-17 Aeromedical Evacuation Trainer for use in the USAFSAM advanced curriculum for training Aeromedical Evacuation medical aircrew members in accomplishing their mission tasks both during pre-flight, in-flight, and post flight operations. The trainer will provide a high fidelity training platform, using a C-17 fuselage test article, faithfully converted into a fully appointed computerized environment, so as to provide a full immersion environment that will simulate both normal and emergency operations. The actual C-17 parts to be purchased include those internal C-17 features that are particularly a part of its Aeromedical Configuration, including the litter stanchion floor mounting fittings and Nurse/Patient Intercom System components to achieve a full high fidelity aircraft configuration. The parts to be purchased are the most important features of the trainer, requiring both dimensional and functional accuracy to produce required quality for the training environment and nurse/patient-student interface. Utility Panel Assembly; Part Number: 17P9B3500-1; FSN: 1560-01-454-6691. Troop Seat Fitting, Litter Stanchion; Part Number: 17P2A1886-1; This notice is neither a request for quote nor a solicitation of offers; however, vendors that feel they can fulfill this requirement should notify the points of contact identified in this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses received is solely at the discretion of the Government and the Government will not reimburse any costs incurred as a result of the response.
