- Synopsis THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER A SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. This announcement constitutes only the pre-solicitation notice; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will be issued on or around 25 July 2013. Solicitation number FA4600-14-B-0011 is being issued as an INVITATION FOR BID (IFB). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-74. All applicable provisions and clauses are included in the actual solicitation. This electronic announcetiltonament constitutes only the pre-solicitation notice being issued. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238110, and the small business size standard is $14,000,000.00. This solicitation is 100% set-aside to SDVOSB concerns. The Government intends to issue a firm fixed price construction contract with a Period of Performance (PoP) of 90 calendar days to provide the following project: repair by replacement the elevated walkway in the courtyard of the Lemay complex. A new elevated walkway with a guardrail shall be constructed in place of the deteriorated walkway that the contractor shall demolish. The project will also include the reconstruction of a portionof the slab-on-grate sidewalk, to include the installation of an ABA compatible curb ramp. All work shall be performed in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in the contract specifications and drawing sheets. Please reference solicitation # FA4600-14-B-0011 on all correspondence. Project magnitude is between $25,00.00 and $100,000.00. Funds are presently available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation either before or after the closing date. All contractors shall be System for Award Management (SAM.GOV) registered at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. Contractors must be registered in the SAM.GOV database before a contract can be awarded to your company. NO PARTIAL QUOTES WILL BE CONSIDERED. NO PARTIAL AWARDS WILL BE MADE. Please acknowledge all requirements of the solicitation in the bids. Contact information will be provided in the solicitation as well. The 55th Contracting Squadron will arrange an escort to provide transportation for the offeror to hand deliver the bid.
