Description
Construction Project. The purpose of this work is to reroute approximately 40 feet of deluge piping. The work will consist of core drilling two holes (approximately 12 inch diameter) through reinforced concrete walls (approximately 2 and 3 feet thick) as well as furnishing and installing 10 in. diameter steel pipe (approximately 40 ft.) and the supplies needed to complete the piping reroute. Place of Performance is at the Dworshak Dam powerhouse located near Orofino, Idaho, Clearwater County. Period of performance is anticipated to be late August through the end of September, 2014. Solicitation Number W912EF-14-Q-0173 will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website on or about July 28, 2014. The solicitation will be a Request for Quotes. Quotes will be due no sooner than 15 calendar days after actual solicitation issuance date. A site visit will be offered approximately 1 week after the solicitation is made available to quoters. Refer to the solicitation for details regarding the site visit. Construction magnitude is between $100,000 and $250,000. Performance and payment bonds in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price are required. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this work is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction. The small business size standard is $36,500,000 in average annual receipts (after July 14, 2014). This project is set aside 100 percent for small business concerns.
