Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, National Cemetery Administration, intends to cancel Request for Proposal number VA786-14-R-0030, to provide all labor, materials, equipment, and services to repair/replace irrigation master valves and components associated with the master valves valve box assemblies at the Los Angeles National Cemetery located in Los Angeles, CA, as required by the drawings and specifications and issue Request for Proposal number VA786-14-R-0030A, to provide all labor, materials, equipment, and services to repair/replace irrigation master valves and components associated with the master valves valve box assemblies at the Los Angeles National Cemetery located in Los Angeles, CA, as required by the drawings and specifications. Unless additional notice is given or this notice is modified or cancelled, the full solicitation, specifications, and drawings will be posted on FedBizOpps (www.fbo.com). The anticipated issuance date of this solicitation is approximately July 14, 2014. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB). Only verified SDVOSB and VOSB firms are eligible to submit an offer or receive an award of a VA contract that is set-aside for SDVOSB and VOSB in accordance with VAAR Part 819. A non-verified vendor that submits a bid or proposal will be rejected as non-responsive. To be eligible for award, the SDVOSB or VOSB must be considered small under the relevant NAICS code and must be registered and verified in the following websites: Those desiring to receive an award from this solicitation must be registered at www.vetbiz.gov. Companies must have the Certified Veteran Enterprise (CVE) seal on their registration to be considered for an award; the VIP database will be checked both upon receipt of an offer and prior to award; firms must be currently registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at www.sam.gov and have completed online Representations and Certifications prior to contract award; www.cpscontractor.nih.gov and www.vets100vets.dol.gov. NAICS Code: 237110Size Standards: $33.5 Million Project Magnitude: Between $25,000 and $100,000. All interested parties should register via FedBizOpps interested vendors list. It is the responsibility of the offeror to monitor, download, and acknowledge all solicitation documents and amendments from FedBizOpps which may be issued to this solicitation. All amendments must be acknowledged; a bid or proposal received without acknowledgment of the amendments will be rejected as non-responsive. The Contract Specialist and point of contact for this solicitation is Kandy Clark, e-mail kandy.clark@va.gov. Telephone requests will NOT be accepted. The Contract Specialist will not be able to respond to any questions to this notice until an RFP is issued.
