- Brand Name Justification RFQ COMBINED SYNOPSIS AND SOLICIATION-FTC-14-Q-4054 In accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6 Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, the following information for the combined synopsis/solicitation is hereby provided: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation FTC-14-Q-4054 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). Solicitation FTC-14-Q-4054 and incorporated provisions and clauses are in effect with through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-72 effective January 1, 2014. Solicitation FTC-14-Q-4054 will be set aside for any small business, and the associated NAICS code is 442110 Furniture Stores. The contract line items, quantities, and units are as follows: Line Item Description Quantity Unit 0001 Furniture Warranty Services Program Management 132 Hrs Installers 994 Hrs Truck Services 120 Hrs A description of the requirements, dates/places of delivery and acceptance, and the FOB point are provided in the attached Performance Work Statement. Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial hereby applies to this acquisition. Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items, hereby applies to this acquisition. Technical, past performance, and price shall be used evaluate offers. Technical and past performance, when combined, are less important than price. Vendors shall include a completed copy of provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with its quote. Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, hereby applies to this acquisition. Clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, herby applies to this acquisition. All additional FAR clauses cited in this clause are provided in the Terms and Conditions attachment. All terms and conditions determined by the contracting officer to be necessary for this acquisition are provided in the Terms and Conditions attachment. All Steel brand name justification is provided as an attachment. Submit all questions via email no later than July 11, 2014 at 4:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. Please be advised that the Government reserves the right to transmit those questions and answers of a common interest to all prospective Vendors. Quotes must be submitted electronically by July 15, 2014 at 4:00 pm Eastern Standard Time. Submit quotes directly to Jason Callahan via email to jcallahan@ftc.gov.
