- The US Department of Energy (DOE), National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL), intends to issue a sole source contract modification to Eagle Design, Inc. (EDI) in accordance with the FAR 6.302-1. This announcement constitutes the only synopsis for this requirement; and is issued for notification purposes only. Any interested party should contact the below named for more information regarding this posting, all correspondence shall be received no later than 16 July 2014 at 1600 EST. Eagle Design, Inc. provides services for Grounds Maintenance, Janitorial, Recycling, Mail Room, Snow and Ice Removal, Office/Systems Furniture Assembling and Moving services under contract number DE-NT0004717. The action is a sole source to Eagle Design, Inc. to allow sufficient time for the competitive contract process to continue. The modification resulting from this synopsis will be for a 6 month period. The government reserves the right to extend the contract further without additional public notice. Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETATIVE QUOTATIONS. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Sources wishing to be considered MUST submit documentation to the office identified in this notice. Documentation must be submitted within 10 calendar days of the date of publication of this notice.
