Description

MEMO TO FILE Project Number: 3LA0228 Lease Number: LLA15435 (current) new # TBD Agency: DHS/CBP Location: Galliano, LA March 11, 2014 The purpose of this Memo to File is to document the file that Expressions of Interest were sought through FedBizOpps.gov on October 29, 2013 and that no responses were received. A second Expressions of Interest was posted through FedBizOpps.gov on February 6, 2014. This second Expressions of Interest expanded the delineated area approximately 20 miles to the north and south of Galliano. Additionally, a notification to Galliano City Officials was sent on November 14, 2013 requesting a list of properties to be considered to which no response has been received. Per GSAM 570.402.1, the simplified procedures in 570.2 may be used in this procurement as the rent for the anticipated succeeding lease will not exceed the SLAT of $150,000 net annual rent and total contract value will not exceed $550,000. For this procurement the agency required 2,485 rentable square feet and it is estimated, based upon the current market data, that the total annual rent will be roughly $21,825.90. This Memo also serves to satisfy GSAM 570.203-2 Competition. Part b, which states that a Memo to File is required if only one source will be solicited due to a lack of competition.
