- NASA/GRC has a requirement for New FEMAP Floating Licenses with maintenance and support. (4) Qty FEMAP Floating Licenses (4) Qty Fourteen months Saratech maintenance on FEMAP (Floating )-ME&S NASA/GRC intends to purchase the items from SARATECH, 14 Monarch Bay Plaza #429. Dana Pt, CA 92629-3424.Siemens who is the developer of the FEMAP software has appointed Saratech a small business vendor as the authorized reseller due to their unique expertise with FEMAP software. Saratech is able to provide the necessary technical support service and maintenance. Others resellers cant provide the same level of technical qualifications with FEMAP. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and the Simplified Acquisitions set forth in FAR Part 13. The Sole Source is under the Authority of FAR Reference 13.106-1(b)1. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local time on July 18, 2014. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
