- USSS Non-Disclosure Form for Site Visit for 2014 African Summit This is a pre-solicitation notice that the Government intends to award a competitive, commercial firm fixed price type contract for services in support of the 2014 African Summit. The Contractor shall provide all equipment rental and coordination/management services in support of 2014 African Summit, which has been determined to be a National Special Security Event (NSSE). Award will be made on the basis of best value to the Government. This procurement is for commercial services. This solicitation is unrestricted. The North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 561990. The estimated release date for HSSS01-14-R-0084 is on or about July 15, 2014. Specific information about this procurement will be available in this solicitation. Potential offerors area hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will only be available by downloading the documents at the Federal Business Opportunities Website at http://www.fbo.gov. This office will not issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting a proposal, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. All proposals are to be delivered in electronic format to Danielle Donaldson at danielle.donaldson@usss.dhs.gov The US Secret Service (USSS) will host a MANDATORY site visit for all vendors interested in the requirement for facilitator services to integrate temporary law enforcement event physical security requirements as outlined in USSS Request for Proposal (RFP) HSSS01-14-R-0084. In order to be considered eligible for award, each interested offeror must attend the site visit in its entirety. Offerors should anticipate the entire site visit to last until 4:00 PM, the site visit will include a walk thru of three different locations within the Washington, DC area. Instructions for Site Visit: Interested offerors shall register by furnishing the following information to the contract specialist, via email, NO LATER THAN THURSDAY July 10, 2014 at 9:00 AM ET : •1. The DUNS number of company interested in attending •2. A list of all employees that intend attending each site visit* •3. A signed Non-Disclosure form from each attending employee * Each interested offeror is permitted NO MORE THAN 2 representatives from each company. Parking is limited and is at the expense of the vendor. Failure to comply with the above stated instructions will result in denial of site visit access, thus resulting in ineligibility for award. The USSS shall not assume liability or responsibility for any costs incurred as a result of the mandatory site visits. Site Visit Location: Mandarin Oriental Hotel, 1330 Maryland Ave SW, Washington, DC 20024. We will meet in the lobby of the hotel. Time/Date: July 11, 2014 at 10:00 am Eastern All questions, comments and site visit registration must be provided to the contract specialist, Danielle Donaldson at 202.406.6812 or Danielle.Donaldson@usss.dhs. gov. All questions from site visit are due no later than July 14, 2014 at 3:00pm Eastern. Tentative due date for proposals will be July 22, 2014 at 3:00 pm Eastern. Estimated date of award is on or before July 25, 2014.
