- Description
- The Government intends to make a sole source award to Vision Research - AMTEK, 100 Dey Road, Wayne, NJ 07470 for a High Speed Real Time Radiography System. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division (NSWC IHEODTD) requires a high frame rate camera system suitable for integration into a high speed radiography system for x-ray of solid rocket motors during static test firing. The Government requires the following minimum specifications: •· Pixel resolution of 1280x800 at a simultaneous frame rate of 20,000 frames per second minimum •· Dynamic range of ISO 64,000 at 12bit •· CMOS monochrome detector that is resistant to radiation damage •· 96 Gigabytes of memory •· 10Gb Ethernet capability •· Remote operation capability •· Inter-Range Instrumentation Group (IRIG) timing interface •· Global Positioning System Interface •· 2.5 seconds of record time at full resolution, full frame rate •· External triggering capability Please direct any questions or concerns to Yolanda Riley at 301-744-6656 or yolanda.riley@navy.mil. This will be a sole source procurement. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
