Notice Type: Special Notice Synopsis: Added: July 7, 2014 FBO Special Notice This is not a request for proposal or a request for quote. There is no solicitation document available. This is a notice of intent of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) at NYHHCS- Brooklyn and New York Campus to negotiate a sole source contract with RUTGERS (The State University), School of Public Health Practice, to provide OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) Educational Training Services. It is in the best interest of the Government to acquire the products through this vehicle to ensure consistent terms and conditions in certifying the students. Doing so will allow us to take advantage of administrative cost savings obtained from providing all teachings materials and venue to a single vendor. The statutory authority for this sole source procurement is 41 U.S.C. 253(c) (1). This procurement is being conducted using FAR Part 13 procedures. NAICS code is 611310.
