Description
The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Drum, NY anticipates issuing an Invitation for Bid (IFB), for a Requirements contract for Road Repairs located Fort Polk, Louisiana. The Government intends to award a single contract for Road Repairs located at Fort Polk, LA. The contract type will be a Requirements Contract with Fixed unit Prices (IAW FAR 16.503 Requirements Contracts) and Options (IAW FAR 17.2 Options). This requirement is 100% set aside for certified 8(a) firms. The Contractor shall provide all plant, labor, equipment, materials, appliances and supervision necessary to perform specified minor construction, sustainment, restoration, and modernization of buildings, structures, or other real property at Fort Polk, Toledo Bend Recreation Site and Peason Ridge, Controlled Areas, (Weapons/Ammunition Storage Area(s), Active Ranges, Training Areas and environmentally sensitive areas), in strict accordance with the statement of work. The anticipated ordering period is August 2014 through July 2014 base period, with two additional one year option periods. Any correspondence concerning this acquisition shall reference IFB number W9124E-14-B-0002. The North American Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 237310 Highway, Street and Bridge Construction, size standard $33.5 million. The Government anticipates the total cost of the requirements contract between $10 million and $25 million, for the base period and each exercised optional ordering period. The anticipated posting date of the IFB is no sooner than 15 days after the publication of this notice. Upon release to the public, the IFB as well as the amendments will be available at the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website: https://acquisition.army.mil. The IFB will specify the actual date and time for bid receipt.
