Description

This is a Source Sought Notice only. This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quotes, or invitation for bid. The intent of this notice is to identify potential offerors for market research purposes and to determine whether to set aside for small businesses. Norfolk Naval Shipyard is specifically seeking Small Businesses (SB) with current relevant qualifications, experience, personnel and capabilities to perform the following requirement: One (1) Year maintenance contract on 12 sewing machines. Contract includes all parts and labor. (For further details see Statement of Work, Sewing Machines Listed on attached link below). Service Location: NNSY Building 234, 3rd Floor and Building 1505, 1st Floor, Portsmouth VA The anticipated contract type will be firm fixed price with a base year and two (2) one-year options. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 811412 with a size standard of $14.0 Million. This procurement will be awarded using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures 13.5. The Government anticipants a Firm-Fixed Price Contract and the anticipated award date is To Be Announced (TBA). Period of Performance: 23 AUG 2014 - 22 AUG 2015 IMPORTANT NOTICE: Interested sources are invited to respond to this sources sought synopsis should email Contract Specialist, Anjune Ennis at anjune.ennis@navy.mil no later than 09 July 2014 at 10:00 AM EST. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this request or otherwise pay for the information solicited.
