Description

The US Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity proposes to award to LI-COR Inc., 4647 Superior Street, Lincoln, NE 68504, on a sole source basis, for the purchase of a 9140-01 Odeyssey CLx Infrared Imaging System. The Infrared Imaging System will allow for IR probes to be used so that two targets can be detected on the same membrane at the same time. This system's technology is more robust, simpler to use, high-signal to noise and is very stable with proper storage. Competing this requirement and awarding to any other source would result in substantial delays and would result in increased cost to the Government. This procurement shall be under other than full and open competition procedures in accordance with FAR 6.302. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. After the publication of this announcement for fifteen (15) days, solicitation W81XWH-13-T-0329 will be posted for five (days).
