- W912ES-14-T-1001 SF1449 RFQ/Solicitation The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District is soliciting quotes for the Purchase and Delivery of Timbers for Installation on Miter Gates at Several Locks & Dams and Facilities along the Mississippi River, for our Locks and Dams Section. These timbers must be delivered to all requested locations no later than 31 October 2014. Timbers must meet all the specifications of the enclosed Scope of Work (SOW). Vendor will be responsible for unloading the materials at each delivery location. Solicitation number W912ES-14-T-1001 is issued as a 100% Small Business (SB) set-aside in accordance with FAR Part 19. Line Item 0001 is for the purchase and delivery of 4 timbers of Southern Yellow Pine, #2 or better, 8 inches X 12 inches X 16 feet (128 BdFt) rough sawn, for Lock & Dam #1 in Minneapolis, MN. Line Item 0002 is for 16 timbers of Southern Yellow Pine, #2 or better, 8 inches X 12 inches X 16 feet (128 BdFt) rough sawn, for Fountain City Service Base in Fountain City, WI. Line Item 0003 is for purchase and delivery of 66 timbers of Southern Yellow Pine, #2 or better, 8 inches X 10 inches X 20 feet (133.4 BdFt) rough sawn, for Fountain City Service Base, in Fountain City, WI. Line Item 0004 is for purchase and delivery of 4 timbers of Southern Yellow Pine, #2 or better, 8 inches X 10 inches X 20 feet (133.4 BdFt) rough sawn, for Lock and Dam 5, in Minnesota City, MN. Line Item 0005 is for purchase and delivery of 4 timbers of Southern Yellow Pine, #2 or better, 8 inches X 12 inches X 16 feet (128 BdFt) rough sawn, for Lock and Dam #8 in Genoa, WI. Please refer to Scope of Work for full requirements for each line item. The associated NAICS code is 423310 with a size standard of 100 employees. Offeror must create or currently be registered in the new System for Award Management (SAM) database at website http://www.acquisition.gov prior to award. This is a new website which takes the place of the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). A determination by the Government not to award based on the responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government.
