- Sources Sought 1.This is a Sources Sought notice for information only. This is not a solicitation for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. In preparation for future procurement, the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston, Texas is performing market research to gain knowledge of potential sources and their size classification (service disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business, hub zone, 8(a), small disadvantage business, woman-owned small business, small business, or large business) relative to NACIS 339113 that can offer the services listed below. Background: The Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center (MEDVAMC) is in need of a Brand Name Dynamic Boom and lighting system manufactured by Berchtold Corporation. The purpose of this request is for the pre-installation, installation and the boom/lighting equipment itself. The vendor must offer a customized installation of the boom system to fit the specifications of the VAMC OR rooms.
