- Attachment 1: Color Pallet Example Solicitation FA5270-14-R-0035 The Air Force is soliciting for proposals from qualified vendors for a firm-fixed price contract for furniture on various military installations, Okinawa, Japan. The procurement is a commercial acquisition. This requirement is a commercial acquisition using Commercial Acquisition procedures (Reference FAR Part 12, Part 13) and will be negotiated pursuant to FAR Part 15. The proposed contract will be awarded using full and open competition. The government intends to make a Firm Fixed Price, Single award to the offeror that represents the best value to the government. The Government will award only one (1) contract. Solicitation No. FA5270-14-R-0035 will be issued as a Request for Proposals (RFP) advertised with a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 337121. The solicitation will be issued electronically on 27 June 2014 at www.fbo.gov. Proposals will be accepted when submitted via e-mail to richard.burns4@us.army.mil or when hand carried, proposals must be deposited in the bid depository located at 18 CONS, Bldg 95, Kadena AB, Okinawa. Offerors must submit a paper copy of their proposal as well as all information required by the solicitation if proposal is submitted by email. The Request for Proposal issue date is an estimation of the date on which the solicitation will be available; however, the solicitation may be posted before or after this projected date. The closing date for receipt of offers will be on or about 27 July 2014. Anticipated award date will be on or around 1 August 2014. Facsimile, telephone or written request for the solicitation package will not be honored. HARD COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED FOR ANY REASON. All prospective offerors interested in submitting proposals must have a Commercial and Governments Entity (CAGE) code, and must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/) in order to be eligible for receipt of contract award. Any questions you may have regarding this acquisition should be submitted to the Point of Contact (POC) after the solicitation is posted.
