Description
The U.S. Army Contracting Command at Aberdeen Proving Ground intends to release a Request for Proposal (RFP) on or about 14 July 2014. This is a brand-name or equal effort. Salient characteristics for equivalent items will be included in the RFP. This effort shall include: Three (3) Boomerang III (or equivalent) Gunshot Detection Systems, a spares package for Boomerang III (or equivalent), and an OCONUS Operator and Maintainer training event in the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) end-user country of Romania. The official release of the RFP will be posted on the internet via the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website located at the following URL https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/. No additional information regarding this procurement will be available prior to the release of the RFP. Upon release, this RFP will be out for a total of 30 days. The on-line version of the RFP shall include all documents of the solicitation package. No hard copy of the RFP will be issued. Amendments, if any, will be posted at the same location as the RFP. The complete solicitation package, including amendments, should be received and reviewed prior to submitting a response. It is the responsibility of those responding to the solicitation to obtain all amendments and/or other applicable documents associated with the RFP. POC for this action is Dennis Libershal (410) 278-4226. After the RFP is posted to ASFI, all questions or comments in response to the solicitation shall be submitted, in writing via ASFI Q&A system. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website, on a regular basis, for any updates to these documents. Other documents, as necessary, will be posted when available to the ASFI Government Point of Entry (GPE).
