- Description
- The NASA Shared Services Center (NSSC) has a requirement procure Autodesk Simulation Composite Analysis and Autodesk simulation Flex Standalone License Annual Desktop Subscription Renewal with Advanced Support. NASA/NSSC intends to issue a sole source contract to DLT Solutions of Hemdon, VA under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. DLT Solutions is a reseller of Autodesk software. The period of performance will include a one year base period. This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-72. The Government intends to acquire commercial items and services using the provisions, clauses and procedures prescribed in FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13. The NAICS Code is 541519 OTHER COMPUTER RELATED SERVICES size standard in number of $25,500,000.00. The following clauses and provisions are applicable to this combined synopsis/solicitation: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors; 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and CertificationsCommercial Items; 52.212-4 Contract Terms and ConditionsCommercial Items; 52-212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive OrdersCommercial Items. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 12:00 p.m. Central Standard Time on July 2, 2014. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable.
