- Synopsis/Solicitation: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W913E5-14-T-0005 and is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334516, Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing. The size standard is 500 employees. This is not a small business set a-side. The U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), Cold Regions Research and Engineering Laboratory (CRREL) has a requirement to procure one (1) Oxford Cryosystems Desktop Cooler (DTC), and one (1) Oxford Cryosystems AD51 Dry Air Unit. The award will be awarded to the lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA), responsible quote. To be technically acceptable, the products quoted shall be the exact BRAND NAME items specified in the solicitation; see Brand Name Justification attached. Please reference the attached written RFQ for all applicable provisions and clauses.
