Description
Question #1 - Furniture Labor The solicitation describes two labor levels, "General Labor" and "Skilled Labor". What code should be used to determine the base wage for each per the SCA Wage Determination included with the solicitation? It is up to the offeror to determine which labor code in the SCA Wage Determination is appropriate for each labor category in the solicitation. The government cannot dictate these rates. Question #2 &3 - Furniture Parts Is the amount listed in the cells E42 through E46 (of the Pricing Schedule) based on what the government has paid in the past or is it actually calculated from a bill of materials priced per the manufacturer's published list price? These amounts are based on historical figures and anticipated future spending amounts. What exactly is the government looking for the bidder to provide in the List Price Multiplier? The percentage of markup or discount to source parts from each manufacturer listed. If the offeror is required to pay a markup to source the parts from a given manufacturer, then the multiplier would be whatever that percentage is plus 100%. For instance if the offer was required to pay a 10% markup then they would input a multiplier of 1.10. Conversely if the offeror gets a discount from a manufacturer the multiplier would be 100% minus the discount percentage. For instance if the offeror gets a 15% discount then they would input a multiplier of.85.
