- Synopsis: The Stratton ANGB has been tasked to solicit for and award a project entitled HVAC Repairs Bldgs. 2, 19, and 27, located at the 109th Airlift Wing, Stratton Air National Guard Base, Scotia, NY 12302. The type of solicitation will be an Invitation for Bid (IFB). The general scope of work will require the contractor to provide all material, labor, equipment, and supervision required to perform mechanical repairs in the above noted buildings. Building 2; remove and replace the entire existing infrared heating system located inside and aircraft hangar approximately 25-30 ft. from the floor. Building 19, Replace existing boilers and pumps with direct vent boilers connected to Metasys System. Building 27, Replace VAV and heating valves. Each building will be bid as a separate line item. It is highly recommended that the Contractor attend a pre-arranged site visit prior to submitting a bid. Location of work will be at the 109th Airlift Wing, Stratton ANG Base, 1 Air National Guard Rd, Scotia, NY 12302. Work will be conducted in strict accordance with contract and all applicable Federal, State, and local laws, regulations, codes, and directives. Estimated Construction Range: Between $100,000 and $250,000 Duration of project is 90 calendar days after receiving Notice to Proceed This procurement is 100% set aside for small business concerns. North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this acquisition is 238220. Small Business Size Standard for this acquisition is $14,000,000. An organized site visit is tentatively scheduled for August 7, 2014 at the job site. A firm date and time will be incorporated in the solicitation documents. Bids are due to the following address on or about September 8, 2014 at 1000 EST: 109AW MSG/MSC, 1 Air National Guard Rd, Scotia, NY 12302 ATTN: MSgt Wanda Yarbor All documentation relevant to this solicitation will be distributed electronically via the FBO website. The solicitation, specification and drawings will be uploaded to the FBO website for electronic downloading. No paper copies will be issued. Any amendments to the solicitation will be posted to the FBO website. Interested bidders should check the FBO website frequently for any amendments to the solicitation. Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract price will be required of any prospective awardee. Facsimile or e-mail bids are not allowed by the terms of the solicitation.
