Description
The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) intends to award a single Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) award that includes a base year plus four additional Option Years. Solicitation W81XWH-14-R-0057 will be released on or around the 27 June 2014 and will be posted for a total of 30 days. The requirement will be unrestricted and no set-asides will be used under NAICS code 333912. The U.S. Army has a documented requirement for a FDA-cleared, small, deployable medical oxygen generation system that produces 93% oxygen, US Pharmacopeia (USP) at a rate of at least three (3) liters per minute (LPM). The Oxygen Generator, Field Portable (OGFP) system will help reduce the dependency on high-pressure oxygen cylinders, thereby reducing the logistics footprint while also increasing safety. The OGFP system will be a direct replacement for the D-cylinder, must weigh no more than 50% of a filled D-cylinder, and be securable in the same space and rack currently used for D-cylinder transport. The OGFP system must have an Army Airworthiness Release (AWR) Certification and be U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 510(k) cleared at the first requested delivery date. The first required delivery date is 09/15/2014. This is a quote mark brand name quote mark or equal requirement. The brand name system is the SAROS Battlefield Oxygen System (SKU: 9400, NSN: 6515-01-588-3083). Please refer to FAR 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal. Delivery is FOB Destination. All delivery shipments will be made to the following address: USAMMA Medical Maintenance Division 6149 Wardleigh Road Bldg. 1160 Bay 1 Hill AFB, UT 84056-5848
